1. Who We Are

Pro-Ops Canada operates Tow-Ops, a SaaS platform for licensed tow truck operators in Ontario, Canada. Contact: info@pro-ops.org | tow-ops.com

2. What Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email, phone number, business name, HST number, Tow Operator Certificate number
  • Job data: vehicle information, service locations, photos, signatures, notes, invoices
  • Location data: foreground-only GPS when location sharing is enabled for a connected company
  • Device data: push notification token for job alerts

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the Tow-Ops platform and its features
  • To generate TSSEA-compliant invoices and consent forms
  • To send job assignment and status push notifications
  • To share job data with tow companies you are connected to (only data types you have authorized)
  • To send transactional emails (invoice copies, consent forms, job summaries)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with tow companies you explicitly connect to, and only for the data types you authorize (files, circle checks, location). We use Supabase for data storage, Stripe for payment processing, and Resend for transactional email.

5. Location Data

Location is only collected in the foreground when the app is open and you have enabled location sharing for a specific connected company. We do not track your location in the background. You can disable location sharing per company at any time in the app settings.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@pro-ops.org.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your Tow-Ops account at any time from within the app via Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

Solo operators: upon deletion, your account and all associated personal data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems.

Company-managed operators: upon deletion, your personal information (name, email, phone number, avatar, and device token) is permanently anonymized. Job records, compliance documents, and activity logs associated with your account are retained by your employing company as required under Ontario's Towing and Storage Safety and Enforcement Act, 2021 (TSSEA). You may contact your employer directly regarding those records.

Deletion requests are processed immediately and cannot be undone.

9. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security enforced — each operator can only access their own data, and each company can only access data within their tenant.

10. Children's Privacy

Tow-Ops is intended for use by licensed adult professionals only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
